Today’s technology allows an accurate portrayal of an accident sequence via 3 dimensional (3D) graphic animation. To produce an animation, accurate dimensions of the roadway, the involved vehicles, and crash scene evidence (such as skid marks, tire marks, gouges, etc.) are needed to scientifically support the animation.

We analyze the crash and determine how the crash occurred. We analyze the speeds of involved vehicles, placement at critical points during the crash, and actions by drivers such as steering and braking. Once the analysis is complete this data is provided to the animator, who constructs the crash scene and places the data from the reconstruction consultant into the 3D animation.
